Caregiver Magazine is an important monthly healthcare publication that provides informative content and resources to support the caregivers who look after their aging parents. The magazine wanted their identity to better reflect and connect with the baby boomer demographic that is their primary audience.
Caregiver Magazine was looking for a marketing partner who could provide strong design capabilities with a deep understanding of the nuances of marketing healthcare related companies. They challenged BEO Studios to create a new identity package and magazine design that provided a fresh, contemporary look that reflected the publication’s modern approach in the marketplace.
BEO Studios stepped up to the challenge to revamp the brand – from logo to masthead to the magazine’s layout. BEO Studios created the brand guidelines and style guide and truly dove into the look and feel of the magazine. BEO selected colors, fonts and font sizes that were friendlier to the target audience. Efficiencies were added to the magazine’s layout design that would make monthly production smoother and easier when designing future issues.
The end result was a healthcare magazine with a lifestyle magazine look and feel – making the subject matter friendlier and approachable to the reader. The client received praise from their readers who particularly appreciated the modern look that was also easier to read. The client was very pleased with the results and valued the creation of new production efficiencies while elevating the overall design of the publication.
